The Wa-Iraqw is an interesting ethnic group with their homeland along the Rift from Karatu to Babati (Tanzania). Their origins are more north as their features, language and culture express. The song of Safari Ingi a well-known Iraqwi Musician resembles the music from Ethiopia and Eritrea and is very distinct from other ethnic music in Tanzania
